Motionless In White Portland Concert reviews
COTA Austin was great!
What could you want more? Lots of racing action! Fast! Loud!
I loved the jumbo screens scattered throughout the track. The turns are laid out well, and there is plenty of action to see at almost any corner. The track is amazing.
I plan to go again and enjoyed it greatly. So you never miss the action, the turns are laid out well. There is plenty of action to see at almost any corner.
The vendors ran out of food, the ATM's ran out of cash, and the merchandise booths ran out of clothes to buy. However, it was not without its gripes being this is the first time the race was held at this location. Oh, and the price gouging was terrible! $15 for a beef sandwich? Ouch. Also, the lines to get at these items were horribly long, about a 1-hour wait, only to be told they ran out.
Leave the event takes even longer. On race day, we easily waited 1.5 hours to board the shuttle bus back to downtown Austin. Transportation is something you need to plan out accordingly. The paths were rocky and dusty. The shuttle buses from downtown worked very well, but then you still have to walk another 1.5 miles just to get to the COTA entrance gate. Don't bother driving your car because they charge over $150 just to park in the lot.
The sound of roaring engines and the speed. That makes it all worth it. I would recommend it to anybody who loves racing action, the smell of burning tires. Go cheer for your favorite driver.
